Within 30 days of shipment, you may return any item in brand new condition for a refund (we do not refund the shipping cost unless the return is a result of our error).

The warranty is void if any of the following occur:

  1. The unit has been immersed in water or other liquids, allowed to be filled with dirt or dust, misused, improperly maintained, used with components other than originally intended for Hi-Tech Electronics' products, or otherwise physically abused.
  2. The unit is not owned by the original purchaser at the time of warranty claim.
  3. The unit has been tampered with, opened or punctured, (other than opening the battery compartment).

Items must be returned in original packaging with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories. We will not accept returns of opened items (unless defective) or any items returned more than 30 days after shipment. If it has been more than 30 days and the item is defective, we ask that you please contact Hi-Tech Electronic Prods. & Mfg., Inc. directly and inquire about the warranty details for the product. In certain circumstances some defective products will require repair/replacement by Hi-Tech Electronic Prods. & Mfg., Inc. directly. Where applicable, all requests for warranty returns must be accompanied by a proof of purchase and be made through the dealer or outlet where the product was originally purchased.

All returns must include a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). Returns that do not include an RMA# will be assessed a re-stocking fee or will be returned to the sender with no credit given. A restocking charge of up to 15% may apply on merchandise returns that does not comply to the return policy or if order is refused. If, for some reason, a return is made without first obtaining an RMA, a minimum 10% restocking charge will be assessed if the return is accepted.

If you are not satisfied with our product(s), please contact us to obtain a RMA Number within fifteen (15) days of purchase. And products must be returned 100% complete, including all components, original boxes and packing materials, manuals, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. We reserve the right to charge a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee for NON-DEFECTIVE returns.

We recommend that you ship your return via a traceable shipping method (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS with shipment confirmation). We are not responsible for returns that are not sent by a traceable method (i.e., we will not credit for returns sent through the mail that never show up). Claims for lost shipments must be made with the courier you used.

Please allow approximately 7-10 business days for your return to be processed once it has arrived at our warehouse.

If you are requesting a replacement for a defective item, we will ship your replacement after we receive and process your returned product. The replacement order will be shipped as soon as we have your product available at our warehouse.

For international orders, we will not be responsible for return shipping costs nor will we refund original shipping costs. This is the risk you the buyer accept by purchasing from our store and requesting we ship internationally.
